Migrant Farmworkers

We help migrant and seasonal farmworkers throughout the state.  Our goals are to ensure that migrant and seasonal workers:

  • Receive all the wages they have earned
  • Are lawfully and fairly recruited with full disclosures from employers about wages and working conditions
  • Receive employer-provided housing that is safe, clean, and meets legal standards
  • Receive the guaranteed rights of H-2A workers and U.S. co-workers

Most often, the Migrant Farmworker Project handles thes types of cases:

  • Wage claims
  • Enforcement of state and federal migrant protection laws
  • Substandard housing
  • Transportation reimbursement and other H-2A rights
  • Unemployment benefits claims

If you are a migrant or seasonal farmworker with a civil legal problem, contact our Migrant project.
