Legal Action of Wisconsin's Eviction Defense Project (EDP) is court-based, FREE legal aid for low-income tenants in Milwaukee County who are facing eviction.

The EDP can be found at:
Milwaukee County Court House
901 N. 9TH ST., ROOM G-9
HOURS: 12:00PM-3:00PM
MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS*
* (It will be available Monday - Thursday in summer, 2017.)

Tenants who need help with an eviction should visit during these open hours.

At the EDP, eligible clients can obtain FREE legal aid including:
• BRIEF LEGAL ADVICE
• SETTLEMENT ASSISTANCE
• DOCUMENT DRAFTING
• SOME REPRESENTATION IN COURT

Attorneys: If you are interested in volunteering at EDP, please complete this form. A Legal Action staff member will be in touch soon.  (Housing law expert attorneys from Legal Action and the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee are on-site each afternoon to help our volunteers.)
