Please contiue to check back for updates.

Most recent update:

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (March 27, 2020) --- Legal Action of Wisconsin, Inc. is operational and accepting new cases over the phone, even while their physical office locations are closed. Legal Action asks all callers to visit their website, legalaction.org, to find their local office’s phone number.

“We have worked tirelessly over the last two weeks to adapt our law firm to remote working in response to the COVID-19 crisis,” said Deedee Peterson, Legal Action Executive Director. “At this time, our local office staff is equipped to take calls and screen inquiries. We hope to have our central intake line open soon.”

The central intake line is the general number anyone in the state could call to be directed to the appropriate Legal Action program. At this time, Legal Action will not be answering that phone line and directs all callers to call a local office line.
